What is “Vision 2001“?

The South Plainfield Vision 2001 Education Foundation has recently changed its name to the South Plainfield Education Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt organization.¬† It was created to seek financial support from the business community to underwrite scholarships for South Plainfield High School Students. The Foundation is headed and governed by a Board of Trustees which is comprised of business leaders and educators. The Foundation’s mission¬†is to continue generating funds for scholastic and civic incentive programs, as well as provide scholarships for South Plainfield students.

The foundation will help provide:
1. Financial support incentive programs that encourage good citizenship and academic achievements
2. Annual scholarships
3. Internship and co-operative work opportunities
4. Opportunities for inventive industry/school partnerships
5. Endowment funds for scholarships
